BLTC's are filling up fast for 2014, with bookings now being
taken for August and December entry dates (BLTC 19 and 20).
Just a reminder that it is essential that all applicants
collate their experience in a diary and get signatures for as much of this as
possible - especially the visits to bat roosts and other licensed situations -
without this we cannot progress your application.
A reminder that the MINIMUM entry requirements are: 50 bat
contact hours (time spent seeing bats/bat signs) + a MINIMUM of five visits to
known bat roosts with a licensed bat worker, but the more experience you have
the better and nothing is better for learning than getting out there and seeing
it!
You will need additional hours outside of the BLTC before
you can complete the course too -it is not a course for the feint hearted or
those that cannot dedicate serious time and commitment. Becoming a licensed bat worker is far more than just 'going on a course'!
